Privacy Policy
How T.h.Chi collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you order cannabis delivery.
Last updated September 3, 2026
Information we collect
We collect the information we need to verify your age, complete a delivery, and comply with California cannabis regulations. We do not collect more than that, and we do not sell it.
- Identity and age verification: your name, date of birth, and the government-issued ID our driver checks at handoff, as required by California law.
- Order and delivery details: delivery address, phone number, email address, order contents, and delivery notes.
- Communications: messages you send us by phone, text, or email, and any support history attached to your orders.
- Site usage: pages visited, referring site, browser and device type, and similar analytics collected through Google Analytics.
How we use your information
Your information is used to operate the delivery service and to meet our obligations as a licensed cannabis retailer. Specifically, we use it to verify that you are 21 or older, to route and complete your delivery, to process payment, to contact you about an order, to maintain the records California requires us to keep, and to improve the site.
If you have opted in, we may also send you promotions and product updates. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time without affecting your ability to order.
Age verification
This site is restricted to adults 21 and over. When you first arrive we ask you to confirm your age, and we store that confirmation in a cookie on your device for 30 days so you are not asked on every visit. That cookie holds only the fact that you confirmed — it does not contain your date of birth or any identifying information.
Age confirmation on the site is not a substitute for ID. Our driver verifies a valid government-issued photo ID in person at every delivery.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Service providers: delivery drivers, payment processors, and the vendors that host this site and our menu, each limited to what they need to perform their function.
- Regulators and law enforcement: information we are required to disclose or retain under California cannabis regulations, or in response to a lawful request.
- Business transfers: if the business is sold or reorganized, customer records may transfer as part of that transaction.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies: one to remember your age confirmation, and analytics cookies set by Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though blocking the age confirmation cookie means you will be asked to confirm on every visit.
We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
Data retention and security
California regulations require licensed cannabis retailers to retain certain transaction and delivery records, and we keep those records for the period the state requires. Information we are not required to keep is retained only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, to request a copy of it, to request deletion, and to correct inaccurate information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Some information cannot be deleted on request because state cannabis regulations require us to retain it. Where that applies, we will tell you which records we are required to keep and why.
To make a request, contact us at th.chi@aol.com or (925) 628-9364. We may need to verify your identity before we can act on it.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed to anyone under 21, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If you believe someone under 21 has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the applicable regulations change. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
